It is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address and your first and last name, so that we know from whom the request came from and to answer it. We use the Zendesk ticket system, which is a customer service platform from Zendesk Inc., 989 Market Street # 300, San Francisco, CA 94102, USA, to handle customer inquiries . For this purpose, necessary data such as name, first name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address are recorded on our website in order to answer your information needs. 6. FormCrafts

We use FormCrafts, an online form builder operated and managed by Subtle Web Inc, 1-386 Roncesvalles Avenue, Toronto ON M6R 2M9. This service allows us to create forms that are linked to our Zendesk ticketing system. By filling out the form our customers can submit requests to us and we get the data in an organized way so we can process the request faster.

FormCrafts saves the data entered in the form, such as name and email. FormCrafts also uses geolocation data to help us better understand our customers. The geolocation data is limited to Respondent’s region, and does not contain any personally identifiable information. FormCrafts also also collects information relating to requested language, requested web resource, and time spent.

FormCrafts does not give or sell the information it collects to third parties. An exception to the rule is that FormCrafts will share information with law enforcement agencies when required by law. This usually happens when FormCrafts is used for illegal purposes.

On our website we rely links to the social networks Facebook and Twitter as well as to the websites Youtube and Vimeo on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, in order to make our enterprise more well-known here. The underlying commercial purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. The Responsibility for the operation compliant with data protection is to be guaranteed by their respective providers. 8. YouTube

9. Apps (iOS / Android)

location access

While our apps request the permission to access information about your location, we are not using your location actually. The permission to access the users location is simply coupled to the permission to scan for bluetooth devices. We need the latter to communicate with you Tentacle devices.

The permission to access your location even if the app is not in use (which in our case means “access your Tentacles even if the app is not in use”) is optional and by default turned off. You can enable this feature in the app settings.

10. Collection and handling of personal data in the context of the customer account

We offer our customers the possibility to use our personal form on our webshop to place orders for the products we offer and to use certain services in connection with the ordered products. Before the first use, you must register onetime. For this registration we need to get the following informations from you:

  • First name Last Name
  • E-mail address

For the processing of orders in the online shop, we require additional information from you:

  • Billing address (if applicable company and adress, street, house number, zip code, city, country)
  • Delivery address (salutation, first name, last name, if applicable company and additional address, street, house number, zip code, city, country, mobile phone number)
  • Payment data (PayPal data, bank details)
  • Telephone number.

Your customer account will also automatically be assigned to a customer number. We need the phone number to pass it to the logistics company UPS. UPS will require your phone number to contact you regarding delivery. More information about UPS can be found in Section 10 of this Privacy Policy.

Data that you submit to us during registration and when placing orders in the online shop are used for the following purposes:

  • Making your customer profile available on our website
